Being a game developer is tough; especially when it isn’t your full time job. However, with the first MOCBJ title in the rear-view mirror (Macabre), it is time to knuckle down on the next project. Luckily, I won’t have to go at it alone this time.
Working alongside Shea Kennedy (Graphics) and Glock & mr8bit (Music), the newest project is officially in the works again. It is our hope to bring you this new game by the end of this year. If we don’t feel that the quality is up to snuff at the end of that timeline, however, we will extend it for as long as it takes.
The good news is that with our team being a little bigger this time around, theoretically the production time should be much shorter. Macabre took four years to complete, though I took many long development breaks during that time to avoid burnout. With tasks being a little more delegated this time, I think we will all remain more focused and can deliver content much faster.
Check back in the coming weeks for more information!
